At Leonidas Energy, we are a team of enthusiastic professionals dedicated to creating a sustainable future. We consider photovoltaic energy of major importance and wish to contribute to the process of securing electricity for the upcoming generations but also for the future in a greener manner.

Our team is specialised in identifying and developing medium to large scale photovoltaic energy power plant sites and stand-alone storage installations. The mix of our passion and experience has contributed to some of the largest RES projects developed in Romania at the moment. STRUCTURAL CHANGES TO ROMANIA'S GRID CAPACITY ALLOCATION RULES

As of Friday, 30 July 2024, a new methodology for grid capacity allocation for projects exceeding 5 MW (applicable as of 1 January 2026) was approved under ANRE Order no 53/2024 (“Order 53”). Order 53 also amends the Connection Regulation on several important matters, highly relevant for the industry.

FIRST ROMANIAN CFD SCHEME TO BE LAUNCHED THIS YEAR!

After the EU Commission approved on 6 March 2024 the CfD Scheme proposed by Romania for onshore wind and PV, the Ministry of Energy launched on 14 March 2024 under public consultation the draft for the Government Decision and the CfD template agreement (the “Draft”).
